Event Highlights
Our Keynote Speaker – Kristin M Collier, MD, FACP
We are honored to announce Dr. Kristin Collier, MD, FACP, as the keynote speaker at the 2027 Crossroads Banquet this March. A Michigan native, Dr. Collier completed her bachelor’s, medical degrees, and residency all at the University of Michigan. She is now an associate professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan, where she directs the Medical School’s Program on Health, Spirituality, and Religion and serves as an associate program director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Her writing has appeared in leading medical journals and in publications including Notre Dame’s Church Life Journal, America Magazine, and Public Discourse. She is also happily married and the proud mother of four boys.
Dr. Collier’s pro-life witness grows out of her own story. Raised in a non-religious home, she came to Christianity and to her pro-life convictions as an adult after she was already a practicing physician. In 2022, students nominated her to give the keynote at the University of Michigan Medical School’s White Coat Ceremony, and when dozens of incoming students walked out in protest of her views, she responded with grace, defending their right to express themselves even though her speech never mentioned abortion.
A sought-after speaker on bioethics and faith in medicine, Dr. Collier has taught audiences about prenatal development through her talk, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made,” presented with Notre Dame’s Office of Life and Human Dignity, and has lectured at Hillsdale College on physician-assisted suicide. Her message, that mother and child must always be cared for together, speaks to anyone who believes every life deserves protection. Join us March 12, 2027 at the Royal Park Hotel to hear her story!
